O3zone- From sparkle to care
- 26 Feb, 2022
The use of ozone in the medical field dates back to the last century; however, the use of the molecule has always been carried out empirically up to 20 years ago when, thanks to translational research, we began to study and understand its mechanisms of action in the biological field.
The results resulting from this research have made it possible to identify a wide range of therapeutic indications in the human and animal fields.
In recent years at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Genoa, in collaboration with the team captained by Prof. Izzotti, translational research, transposed into the clinical field, has made it possible to develop a blend of vegetable oils that stabilize the ozone , make it available in the treatment of ischemic vascular pathology and as a powerful adjuvant in oncology.
